Ive been with W-West for a year now, we are compleatly youth lead, so we know what its like to be told not to do stuff. Thats why we decided to be a pro choice group.

All the research we use is commisioned by the NHS and proper registerd and established companies.

We really appreciate your views and find it intreasting that you feel we are demonising smokers. I started smoking when i was 11 and stopped at 14, We also have other smokers in the group.

Also all my family smoke so i done see a problem with smoking but i do feel it important for us to pass on the appropreate information about it.

Thanks for your comments. WWEST is a pro choice information group. We present the facts about smoking to let other young people make up their own minds. Some of us are smokers so we are certainly not an anti-smoking propaganda group.

You say choice is the name of the game - this is what wwest is trying to promote. We dont judge young people and they can be a wwest member whether they smoke or not. We do not have a personal hatred of smoking. We are here to inform other young people so they can make up their own minds.

For your information, ASH does not fund or subsidise the work of wwest.

What about choice for non smokers? I hate being stuck behind someone smoking on the street or walking into work past people smoking. I'm forced to breathe in the foul smelling air. It's a vile and disgusting habit and I think smoking should be banned completely. Think of the millions saved in health care!
